Small Group Ministries

Looking to connect with people outside of Sunday morning worship? Join us during the week for a small group and get to know people a little better.

Small Group Studies- The Book of Luke: Join in this journey through the book of Luke. Explore the entire life of Jesus, from the Christmas story to the Easter miracle. We will follow Jesus’ ministry through of eyes of a renowned historian and physician, St. Luke.

This study is led by the Director of Christian Education, Jeremy Wells, and will be a 4-week study beginning May 14 and May 16

Register for either Monday at 6:00pm or Wednesday at 10:00am offering

Week 1: Luke 1 – 2. Jesus’ Birth (5/14 or 5/16)

Week 2: Luke 3 – 9. Jesus’ ministry of Good News (5/21 or 5/23)

Week 3: Luke 9 – 19. Parables and Miracles (5/28 or 5/30)

Week 4: Luke 19 – 24. The road to the Jerusalem (6/4 or 6/6)

Sunday Night Live- This is a book study group that meets from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm in the Walker-Smith building. We are in the second week of our study on "Buddhism: A Very Short Introduction" by Damien Kewoun. Hope to see you Sunday evening!


Second Cup- This informal weekly small group gathers at 11:30 am in the Fellowship Hall to reflect on the sermon and worship as a whole following Sunday service. All are welcome to attend this open group. You are invited to come and bring any questions or insights you would like to share.


New Adult Sunday Morning Study- Begins Sunday, June 3rd 9:00–9:45am in the Walker-Smith building

This drop-in style study will offer a wide variety of topics week to week. There is no need to RSVP and no fear if you miss one (or several) weeks of the group. Each lesson will be independent and offer unique insight into the Bible, the songs we sing, and current events. Gatherings will be led by the Director of Christian Education, Jeremy Wells, and the Christian Education Team.

United Methodist Women- We are currently on break for the summer. Meetings will resume in October.


United Methodist Men- This group meets every Wednesday morning for breakfast at 7:30 am at Rick's Cafe, all are welcome (yes, even women!) In addition to breakfast, we will have time for devotion and for fellowship.


Prayer Shawl Ministry- meets the first and third Wednesday of the month from 1 to 3 pm in the church atrium. No experience necessary- We can teach you! Knitters and crocheters are both welcome.
