Feeding the Hungry

Due to COVID-19, feeding programs at the church have changed slightly. We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to being able to serve full meals once again.

  • Pancake Breakfast: Pancakes will be available in biodegradable to-go containers on Sunday and Tuesday mornings from 7:00 am to 8:00 am in the Fellowship Hall.
  • Soup Kitchen Lunch: Saturdays from 1:00pm - 2:00pm in the Fellowship Hall a soup lunch is available to-go for all who are hungry.
  • Well in the Desert Luncheon: Every Monday and Tuesday the church hosts lunch for the Well in the Desert in the Fellowship Hall. Lunch is served from 11 am to 1 pm.

Would you like to make a difference in your community and live out our core value of serving hope? We are pleased to announce the beginning of a new Thursday morning feeding ministry beginning soon.

Many of you know that we have recently resumed providing pancakes and coffee to our homeless guests while employing the current mask/social distancing procedures. The service has become very popular! For example, earlier this week we fed 70 folks on Sunday and 45 on Tuesday. The need is apparent for more warm meals for the hungry.

Before we can begin though, we need to find some of you who have a heart for service! Volunteers would be asked to:

  • Attend a volunteer training in person or via zoom.
  • Use the online registration to sign-up for various serving opportunities.
