“What a very special month it has been at UMCPS! I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed celebrating our 60th Anniversary with you! I learned much, was greatly inspired for our future, and had so. much. fun. Thanks to so many in our church family: Paul Nixon and the 60th Anniversary Planning Team for all they put together throughout October and especially the fabulous anniversary party on Oct. 22nd; Modern Men for their surprise serenade that launched our big party and Steve Carson for the amazingly delicious cake that concluded it; Marj Aikens, Carrie Allan, Keith Young and Terry Coan for their informative and engaging stories from our church’s past and to Nathan Cox for his fantastic videography and editing; Doug Oostdyk and the Worship Team for turning our longstanding dream of Core Values Banners for the sanctuary into a reality; Office Coordinator Pam Hill for her tireless work in making it all happen. Thanks all who brought in old photos and shared fave memories and best wishes for our future. The party that is UMCPS started well and keeps getting better and better!”
